Stone basement wall collapsed due to not having proper slope and drainage around the house.
A little basement project that we done this past year. As you can see the wall was completely collapsing. All of this was due to a washing machine drain pipe, installed to empty out next to the outside of the wall. The grade made all the water to soak down next to the foundation. Once the frost started, it totally destroyed the wall. One of the easiest things to do is , Make sure your drainage and grade slope is correct.
We dug out the wall, down to the foundation and completely rebuilt it with a structural gunite from Premier Gunite LLC.
